Jurox USA began operations from its Kansas City, MO headquarters in 2014 and serves as the sales and marketing resource for Jurox Pty Ltd products once they are introduced into the United States.  The products are available from the entirety of the domestic animal health distribution network.

Since the U.S. launch of Alfaxan®, nearly 5000 specialty and full service veterinary hospitals have incorporated the product into their anesthetic protocols.  The recent introduction of Alfaxan Multidose with its FDA-registered 28 day shelf life, post broaching, will provide even more flexibility for the surgeons who use it.  Click here for more information about Alfaxan injectable anesthetic.

Jurox USA currently fields 18 sales representatives and managers, four Inside Sales Representatives and four Technical Services Veterinarians.

Jim Van Proosdy

Jim Van Proosdy has had sales, marketing, management and executive management roles within the U.S. Animal Health Industry for over 36 years.  As a manager, Jim has led sales and marketing teams at Virbac, Bayer Animal Health, Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Merial, Pro-Vet, Manna-Pro, ImmuCell and MAI.  While a manager with these companies, Jim has overseen the launch of over 30 new products and strategic marketing programs in both the companion and production animal segments.  Jim was named Country Manager and Chief Operating Officer for Jurox USA Animal Health in 2015 and currently serves on the executive management team of Jurox Pty, Ltd, located in New South Wales, Australia. 

Kirby Pasloske

Kirby graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a biochemistry degree in 1987 and as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. From 1991 to 1994 Dr. Pasloske was in private practice in Vancouver, BC. In 1994, Dr. Pasloske entered the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph and completed the program to receive the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Science in the discipline of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology. From 1997 to 2000 he served as a veterinary research specialist at Merck and Co. Ltd in New Jersey, working in drug discovery and development. He was recognized as a Diplomate of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology in 1999. In 2000, Dr. Pasloske became group leader of a pharmacology team at Elanco Animal Health in Indiana. In 2003, he accepted the position of Research Program Manager with Jurox Animal Health located in New South Wales, Australia. In June 2013 Kirby returned to his country of origin, Canada.

Kirby is currently Director of Veterinary Technical Services and Research, North America, for Jurox (Canada) Inc.
